Bathurst is a small independent record label based in Lübeck. It was founded in 2018 by the musician David Hanke, also known as Renegades of Jazz, Lehto and Keno.

History

Bathurst record label was founded in 2018, and launched with the compilation album Motor Jazz.^[1] The Motion Orchestra's All One album followed shortly after.^[2]

To date the Renegades of Jazz are the most commercially successful artist on the label, known for "fusing Jazz with Breakbeat elements, bringing the Jazz back to the dancefloor".^[3] Their first release on Bathurst was Sonic Verve in 2022.^[4]
