Anand Pon (30 December 1956 – 29 October 2023) was the Malaysian founder of SMART College, the first College in Malaysia to offer specialised courses in Enforcement and Compliance as well as Corporate Investigation.

SMART College[edit]
2012
Mr. Anand Pon developed, wrote and gained Malaysia's first accreditation from MQA for diploma programs in Enforcement and Compliance as well as Corporate Investigation. These two courses would become the starting points for SMART College's courses as later on, more courses such as Digital Marketing, Occupational Safety and Health and other diplomas were later added.
2015
The 1st fully accredited Diploma in Enforcement by MQA was officiatedSMART College had its first convocation at Royal Selangor Club, Kuala Lumpur.
2017
SMART College was accredited by FELDER under "Institusi tajaan FELDA". A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) singing ceremony was conducted for a franchise collaboration with the Universiti Pertahanan National malaysia (UPNM) for a degree program. Afterwards, an education partnership with James Cook University Australia was conducted on a degree pathway for a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
2018
The Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun, graciously received a courtesy visit from Mr Anand Pon, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, at the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters. Additionally, SMART AMAR was established and inaugurated by Mr. Ruslan bin Tuan Mat, Director of the Community Education Division, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM)
