Aloïs Menu (French pronunciation: [a.lwaɪs məˈnuː] ⓘ; born 1994 February 11th) is a french actor, director and producer.[1][2][3][4][5]
Biography

[edit]Aloïs Menu was born in Reims in the Marne and spent his childhood in Tinqueux as well as in the Landes and Var, regions to which he remains very attached. He has a younger brother named Grimaud Menu who is a steadicam operator and director who has made a few appearances in his films, notably playing the lead role in the short film Frangin in 2016.[6]
Career

[edit]He started to learn drama between 2007 and 2012 in Tinqueux in the Marne at the age of twelve thanks to the association " The Panikonpas » which he created with his classmates from Paulette Billa College. During these years, he also experimented radio hosting in a small local radio station called " Cigale FM » and the animation during an associative and voluntary event called « The Cabaret of the Heart " which he also set up and which served to raise funds for research into rare and orphan diseases .[7]
Aloïs Menu then began his career in television and cinema in 2013, making a few appearances in Alice Nevers, the judge is a woman, Chocolat, Dalida and They are everywhere . He also plays in short films for international festivals such as the Nikon Film Festival and the 48 Hour Film Project .
In 2015, he directed his first short film Frangin in his hometown and he also opened his production company called Wondrous Films. It was during these same years that he joined the RJR radio station in Reims for three years to produce and host the show "19h Live", a weekly talk show surrounded by columnists.
Between 2018 and 2020, he gave new impetus to his career by being represented by agent Aurore Castaldi, wife of Benjamin Castaldi[8] and had his first small roles on French television.
