ASSEDEL (L’Association européenne pour la défense des droits et des libertés) is a non-profit organization, operating under its statutes and in compliance with Articles 21 to 79-III of the Alsace Moselle Civil Code concerning associations.[1]
The goal of ASSEDEL is to promote, protect, and advocate for human rights and fundamental freedoms in accordance with the European Convention on Human Rights, within the Council of Europe framework, as well as at local, national, and international levels.
The organization offers guidance and support to those affected by human rights violations.
The association collaborates with both local and international partners, submits reports to global organizations, raises public awareness, and publishes opinion pieces on human rights violations and humanitarian issues, including immigration, women's rights, discrimination, new technologies, the environment, children's rights, education, freedom of speech, the rule of law, and democracy.
