D. Singh Babu Stadium.[6] The event was attended by Kalyan Chaubey, the President of AIFF, and Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The match also provided an opportunity to discuss collaborative efforts to enhance the state's football infrastructure with Uttar Pradesh Football Sangh.[7] The event led to a declaration of announcements of creation of 827 fields, 18 stadiums for football in the state.[8] All India Football Federation also distributed 96,445 balls in 21,551 schools in 75 districts of the state under the FIFA F4S project.[9][10][11]

Match

[edit]

Mohan Bagan Super Giants were able to clinch the trophy as Suhail Bhat scored for them in the first half of the match but wasn't maintained as East Bengal's Kuruniyan came forth when needed and scored in the last twenty minutes of the goal.[13]

During the penalty shoot-out, Mohun Bagan SG successfully converted three of their kicks, thanks to Serto Worneilen Kom, Adil Abdulla, and Ravi Bahadur Rana. Although Aditya Patra made two crucial penalty saves and both Kuruniyan and Chiku Mandi scored for East Bengal, it ultimately wasn't sufficient. Tanmay Das, Vishnu PV and Muhammed Musharaf could not convert their penalties.[14]
