Proposed rename

I believe this should be renamed “Zobel de Ayala family”, to distinguish it from other Ayala clans.

but are there other ayala clans? If ~~all the~~ all the wikipedia-notable Ayalas are also related to the Zobles, then fine, go ahead and rename.--Jondel 16:00, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Others? Probably none as prominent. However, this Ayala family in particular defines itself has having descended from Johannes Andreas Zobel (or its members linked to him by marriage), so it wouldn’t really be wrong to call them the Zobel de Ayalas.
