It's assumed that the huge majority of Haitian photographers have carried out some photography in Haiti, so this category simply subsumes Haitian photographers as a subcategory; Haitian photographers are not additionally listed individually below.

As for non-Haitian photographers, they are listed if they have done a substantial amount of work in Haiti (at a minimum, one book devoted to Haiti) or if their work in Haiti was of unusual historical or other significance. Non-Haitian photographers who have merely made short visits to Haiti and had miscellaneous photographs published should not be specified below.
