Caleb Lomu is an American football offensive tackle for the Utah Utes.
Early life and high school
[edit]Lomu attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona. Lomu earned invites to play in the All-American Bowl and the Polynesian Bowl.[1] He was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Utah Utes offers from Arizona, Michigan, and USC.[1]
College career
[edit]As a freshman in 2023, Lomu only played 25 snaps for the Utes and took a redshirt.[2] He earned the starting left tackle spot in 2024.[3] That season, Lomu allowed just 17 pressures and two sacks, earning freshman all-American honors from The Athletic.[4] Heading into the 2025 season, he is heavily regarded as one of the top prospects in the upcoming 2026 NFL draft.[5][6]
