Boualem Rahoui

Boualem Rahoui (born 8 October 1948 in Aïn Témouchent) is a retired Algerian long-distance runner. He specialized in the 3000 metres steeplechase, 5000 metres and 10,000 metres.
Career
[edit]Rahoui represented the club ASPTT Oran. He competed in the steeplechase and the 5000 metres at the 1972 Olympic Games,[1] and the 10,000 metres at the 1983 World Championships.[2] At the 1975 Mediterranean Games he won the steeplechase gold and the 10,000 metres bronze,[3] and he also won three gold medals at the Maghreb Championships.[4]
His personal best times were 8.20.2 minutes in the steeplechase, achieved in 1975; and 13.40.2 minutes in the 5000 metres, achieved in 1975.[1]
