Amir Eid (Arabic: امیر عید; born November 26, 1983) is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, and actor. He is the lead vocalist of the rock band Cairokee. He founded the Egyptian rock band Cairokee in 2003 and recorded political songs during the egyptian revolution. These songs include Sout el Horeya and ya el midan. He is a supporter of the Palestinian cause, which featured in his song Telk Qadeya.

Music career

Eid founded the Egyptian rock band Cairokee in 2003.[1]

Telk Qadeya

On 30 November 2023,[2] Eid released the single Telk Qadeya (This Cause), in solidarity with Palestine. Telk Qadeya criticized the United States for not doing enough.[3] This song has had over a million views on YouTube.[4]
