Adoni railway station (station code:AD[1]) is located in Kurnool district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and serves the city of Adoni. Adoni Railway Station is one of the most important and busiest railway stations of the South Coast railway.[2])

Adoni is classified as a NSG4–category station in the Guntakal railway division.[3]

Electrification

Electrification work in the 641 km (398 mi) Pune–Wadi–Guntakal sector was initiated in 2013.[4]
