It is the 37th Final Four of the modern EuroLeague Final Four era (1988–present), and the 39th time overall that the competition will conclude with a final four format. In the championship game, Panathinaikos AKTOR dethroned Real Madrid, winning their 7th title and returning to European glory after thirteen years.[2]
