Walther Franz Anton von Dyck (December 6, 1856 - November 5, 1934) was a German mathematician. He is credited with being the first to define a mathematical group, in the modern sense. He made important contributions to combinatorial group theory. The Dyck language in formal language theory is named after him.

He was also the editor of Kepler's works.
