Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Marsiya, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zaynab. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

In the course of my new page reviewing, I came across this redirect, targetting Muhammad. ﷺ , I understand, is a sort of calligraphic abbreviation, but the "ﷴ" part confused me (I neither speak nor read any Arabic). Since you created this redirect, can you explain before I mark it as reviewed? Cheers, Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 17:47, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"ﷴ" means "Muhammad" in Arabic.

So the redirect says "Muhammad Muhammad"? Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 11:44, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Uh, no. The calligraphic abbreviation "ﷺ" means "peace be upon him" (PBUH for short), not "Muhammad", so the redirect is "Muhammad (PBUH)".

Hi! Just to let you know, I undid your edit adding Rapid eye movement sleep to the hatnote, as the term is already linked from REM (disambiguation) under Science and technology.

If I’ve made a mistake and shouldn’t have undone this, then please let me know.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jigar (given name), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gujarati. Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

Balochi in Cyrillic

[edit]

Hello,

A Cyrillic alphabet is used for Balochi in Turkmenistan. You can find details of this in several sources on the use of the language there. You can find details with sources on Balochi orthography in Turkmenistan in this Russian Wikipedia article: http://ru.wiki.x.io/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%83%D0%B4%D0%B6%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%BF%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BC%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8C عُثمان (talk) 14:04, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
