Information icon Hello, I'm Nyakase. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Famous Birthdays have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Take a look at our guidelines about external links. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Famousbirthdaystodays does not appear to exist. I saw you added a link to famousbirthdaystoday in a different article though, which is not the website of Famous Birthdays. Is this your website? Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a good place to get clicks for your blog. Nyakase (talkguestbook) 09:53, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Famous Birthdays, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:17, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'll add that famousbirthdays.com and famousbirthdaystoday.com appear to be two completely different websites. While famousbirthdays.com is notable enough to merit a Wikipedia article, famousbirthdaystoday.com appears to be an unrelated blog. Unless you have sources proving they are related, you should not conflate the two topics.

What is your association with famousbirthdaystoday.com? ~Anachronist (talk) 19:26, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Famous Birthdays Today (February 26)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected and cannot be resubmitted. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Anachronist was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: No meaningful changes since the last time this was declined. The cited sources are about famousbirthdays.com, not famousbirthdaystoday.com, and the text attempts to misrepresent the cited sources to be about a different website. We already have an article on Famous Birthdays, which appears to be a different entity than the topic of this draft. Do not waste reviewer time submitting drafts with substantially the same text and sources as an existing article.
