License tagging for Image:Bloodfist DVD cover .jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bloodfist DVD cover .jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:04, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Little context in Saving Sarah Cain

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Saving Sarah Cain, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Saving Sarah Cain is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Saving Sarah Cain, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Fair use rationale for Image:Doomed DVD cover .jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Doomed DVD cover .jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Witchraft 2 DVD cover.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Witchraft 2 DVD cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:20, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Bloodfist 3 DVD cover.jpg}

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Bloodfist 3 DVD cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hello Movieman2! I've noticed you working on Christian articles and have an interest in Christian films . Some editors and I have been thinking of starting a Christian Films WikiProject/Task Force, and I was wondering if you like to add your name to help us get the ball rolling. If so, please add your name here! Thanks. :) TheAE talk/sign 21:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of End of the Beginning (film)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article End of the Beginning (film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Movie currently in pre-production.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 00:49, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Evil Bong 3D: The Wrath of Bong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article does not meet the notability guidelines of WP:MOVIE. The film was not widely districuted, did not receive reviews by nationally-known critics, and did not receive any major awards.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Inks.LWC (talk) 04:27, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

With regrets, I reverted your edit to this page. I agree with your Change Summary that "Either-Or" is horrible (and meaningless to the viewer). However, I read the citation from 2-Apr mentioning the use of "Either-Or" and added it in the 2nd paragraph of the section on Production. I'd let this suffice until we see whether the producers are wedded to the subtitle. On the other hand, if you have newer information that says they are, please reassert your change and edit that 2nd paragraph. Spike-from-NH (talk) 17:00, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Left Behind (2013 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Walker (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Fred Phelps

[edit]

HI, I'm about to send your edits about Fred Phelps death down the memory hole (delete them) because there aren't any sources reporting this information that I can find. If you don't provide a source, I regret I will have to remove that information from the article immediately, per our policy on living and recently deceased people. What's your source? Okay, I went ahead and removed your edits anyway because BLP concerns trump politeness. We can't have that info on here at all without a source. DO NOT RE-ADD THE INFORMATION ON THE DEATH WITHOUT A RELIABLE SOURCE. Also, be aware that if this is a hoax, you may be sanctioned with blocks. Sailsbystars (talk) 02:44, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source/license for File:Bushwick poster.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bushwick poster.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. The article The Great Mystical Circus (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film lacking in-depth, non-trivial support. Fails NOTFILM.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Thank you for uploading File:Blindsone.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 11:36, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:O Grande Circo Místico.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:O Grande Circo Místico.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for creating Shoah: Four Sisters.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process.

I've linked to the French Wikipedia page and reviewed the article as it's clearly notable. However, some sources would be nice, as would noting the French-language title as this is likely what many people would be searching for.

To reply, leave a comment here and ping me.

Clergy (film) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Clergy (film), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).
