South Tyrol

[edit]

Hey, I noticed today that you translated the South Tyrolean secessionist movement page I created into French on that language's Wikipedia, and I just want to stop by to give you a tremendous thank you. It's a fascinating but sorely neglected subject that you've treated very with your mother tongue. From what I can gather we share a fascination with autonomist and secessionist movements in Europe. I'd love to collaborate with you on any projects you have floating around here on the English Wikipedia - sadly, my French is nonexistent. Again, thanks so much for that translation. I greatly appreciate it. -1Matt20 (talk) 00:00, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks you for your encouragement. It's true, I'm interested by nationalisms in Europe like you and especially in Italy. Don't hesitate to ask me if you think that an english article needs a french translation. Mazuritz (talk) 08:19, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Faroe Islands

[edit]

I recently published this page about the Faroese independence movement. If you'd be up for the task, I think a translation onto the French Wikipedia would do the article a huge favor. Thanks!-1Matt20 (talk) 00:00, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mazuritz, please stop lower-casing Wikimedian. Unless there has been consensus for this somewhere, it needs to be upper case. SarahSV (talk) 23:30, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, sorry. English is not my first language. My exemples were Category:American journalists, Category:American computer scientists but I see Category:American Wikipedians and I can wait for Category:American wikimedians and change if its necessary. Mazuritz (talk) 23:39, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nice work on the new categories. Yes, they should be changed to reflect the upper case 'Wikimedian', yet that's a minor point in a good creation. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 00:00, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Another fix. Saw you removed the category 'Wikipedia people' from many pages. Please put those back. The two categories are separate and compatible. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 00:32, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Mazuritz, thanks for stopping. I saw you removing Category:American Wikimedians and adding Category:American wikimedians. The first one is correct, so those changes should be undone. Many thanks again for stopping. SarahSV (talk) 00:47, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SlimVirgin and Randy Kryn: I have applied the requested corrections. Best wishes. --Mazuritz (talk) 23:25, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for that sorting that out. It's much appreciated. SarahSV (talk) 03:47, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, and again, nice work on the new category. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:53, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Valdotanian nationalism moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Valdotanian nationalism, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
