Turkists Pages of Gebze and Izmit

[edit]

There are huge mistakes about topics in Turkists of Izmit and Gebze.

In reference there is nothing about "protest in Ankara" but you keep writing it.

"Kemalism" and "Anti-Islamism" is not related with these groups.

You also removed "Pan-Turanist" organisations.

Leader of these groups are NOT Member Parliament. They were MP candidate for Victory Party on 2023 election.

It seems you can't translate Turkish. I will keep editing. Nasadakimasa (talk) 21:00, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In reference there is nothing about "protest in Ankara" but you keep writing it.
  • Yeah, upon reading it I confused Sabri Yalım parkı with Ankara which was mentioned in it.
"Kemalism" and "Anti-Islamism" is not related with these groups.
  • They admire ataturk and believe in all the 6 principles, also yes they are Anti-Islamist (anti-islamism is NOT anti-islam, its just anti political islam), in the source they literally spoke about how they forgot about turkmens and uyghurs by “playing a muhajireen and ansar role”
You also removed "Pan-Turanist" organisations.
  • Mistake, it happens while reverting
Leader of these groups are NOT Member Parliament. They were MP candidate for Victory Party on 2023 election.
  • Yeah you’re right
Xaneqînî (talk) 23:18, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah right. "Islamism" = "Political Islam" so "Anti Islamism" is accurate.
Kemalism is not about just accepting 6 principles of ATATURK. So it means they are not related with "Kemalism"
"Hodri Meydan" is not a university name. It is fan group of Kocaelispor. So I'm going to edit as "High school&university members of Hodri Meydan(linked to Kocaelispor)"
"Syrians" are not "immigrants" or "refugees" in Türkiye. The law defines them as "asylum seekers"
Thanks for correctings. Nasadakimasa (talk) 00:00, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Victims of Kurdish Hezbollah indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Gjs238 (talk) 15:44, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Iraqi mafia moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Iraqi mafia, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion discussion about Serkan Ramanlı

[edit]

Hello Xaneqînî, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Serkan Ramanlı, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Serkan Ramanlı.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Vanderwaalforces}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Information icon Hello, I'm MarkH21. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Persecution of Uyghurs in Turkey, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You have restored the same unreferenced content twice now (most recently in this edit). It is Wikipedia policy that All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and it is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution. Unless you provide a direct citation, you are violating Wikipedia policy.MarkH21talk 16:56, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

One point here is that the statement is making three claims: that 1) the MHP supported Erdoğa beginning in 2015, 2) the MHP was vocal about Uyghur issues before 2015, and 3) the MHP has not vocal about Uyghur issues after 2015. The currently cited reference only says that they have not been vocal about Uyghur issues. The statement needs additional sources for the other claims, otherwise it is unreferenced and/or synthesis. I.e. it is not enough to have separate sources saying that 1) MHP started supporting Erdoğan in 2015, and 2) the MHP has not been vocal recently. Thanks. — MarkH21talk 17:06, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Using talk pages

[edit]

Information icon Hi, instead of arguing with me through back and worth edit summaries, please reply to me on the article talk page which I have pinged you at. Your edit does not make much sense, and I would like to explain why, this cannot be explained through edit summaries by edit warring back and forth. Ecrusized (talk) 11:26, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not edit warring, if anything I’ve swallowed my pride to prevent that. I just reinstated the parts I felt were unfairly removed. Ilamxan (talk) 11:28, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring, July 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ecrusized (talk) 11:30, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have explained why your edits were reverted. Not only have you not replied on the talk page, but are now reinstated those said edits. As I've said on the talk page, the material which you are adding is already included in the article. Ecrusized (talk) 11:32, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No I haven't added them back. As I said before, I swallowed my pride because I don’t feel like going back and forth. I don’t know why you removed the parts about the Takbir and ripping flags, or the one about Tahrir alSham increasing security. The SNA is with Turkey according to their official statement, so no need to put pro-turkey as the whole organisation is pro-turkey. The Anti-turkey faction is just a few dissidents, “factions” is more than enough. Ilamxan (talk) 11:37, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also please don’t accuse me of edit warring, if you saw then you would know I merged my “2024 Syria riots” with your “Northern aleppo clashes” article to show I didn’t care who made them I just wanted a really good article. Your article about the riots in Turkey were exclusive to Kayseri while I’d argue that mines was more detailed, when you merged mines with yours instead of making a redirect and edit war I just updated yours to make it better. Ilamxan (talk) 11:57, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article Islamokemalism has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No such term exists outside some fringe opinion articles written in Turkish. The term "Islamokemalism" is highly questionable and debatable, if non-existent - there are no scholarly references available.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~Mohammad Hossain~ 12:04, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
