CDG
[edit]Air Tahiti Nui has ended service to Seattle yesterday but I kept the reference. Thanks Jz0610 (talk) 16:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for correcting that! Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor ♥ 21:09, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Milwaukee Brewers
[edit]Why did you revert my edit? The Brewers did not win the AL East in 1981. The burden of proof is on you to prove they did, not on me.2601:645:C683:24A0:79B2:A6:D0A7:6577 (talk) 06:16, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @2601:645:C683:24A0:79B2:A6:D0A7:6577, and welcome to Wikipedia. I reverted your edit because you didn't provide any reliable source. Given multiple other editors have reverted you, I would recommend that you take this to the article's talk page before making the change again. Also, you may want to read WP:BURDEN in which the policy clearly states "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material." You are the one who made the change despite being reverted by multiple others, so it is your responsibility to properly source your edits. Belt and Road Initiative
[edit]Hello.
In the Belt and Road Initiative article, Panama should only be included in the "Past members" section, and removed from the "Current members" section, when it actually ceases to be a member. It has not terminated its memership yet. When its membership ceases and becomes official news, then it should be changed.
Yours sincerely, 78.162.130.48 (talk) 16:24, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi 78.162.130.48, my apologies, I totally misread your edit yesterday. I thought you were removing it from the "current members" section when I reverted you, but I see that's not the case. Thank you for pointing that out! Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor ♥ 15:31, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
Hunterian Professorship Article Edits
[edit]Hello, I noticed that my edits to the Hunterian Professorship page were reverted. I appreciate your diligence in maintaining Wikipedia’s quality.
I have now ensured that all additions are properly cited and the broken image issue is resolved. Could you clarify if there’s anything else that needs improvement? I want to ensure the article remains accurate and well-referenced while giving a little more information about the award, selection process and the lecture.
Thanks! Twilliamncl (talk) 16:41, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Twilliamncl, thank you for correcting those issues! Everything looks good. The only thing I noticed was that you switched the established date from 1805 to 1810 without any source/explanation for the switch. Do you have a source saying the original 1805 date that's been in the article for a while is incorrect? Thanks, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor ♥ 15:33, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you again. I changed it to 1810 based on the Royal College of Surgeons website (https://www.rcseng.ac.uk/standards-and-research/research/fellowships-awards-grants/awards-and-grants/lectureships/). However, if you have a stronger source for it to be 1805 and very happy for this to be changed. Best wishes Twilliamncl (talk) 15:01, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Twilliamncl, thanks for sharing that source! I don't have any source stating the old date; I just wasn't quite clear why it was being changed. I went ahead and added the source you linked next to the year, just so that it's clear to others where that date is coming from. I just glanced at the article again, and everything looks great, although I made one small change. Per the Wikipedia manual of style, text typically shouldn't bolded just for emphasis (see MOS:NOTBOLD). I went ahead and removed all the bolding, other than for the article title. Cheers, Katniss May the odds be ever in your favor ♥ 17:33, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
