Hi there, thanks for the message. I'm not aware of any attempt to add the club pages of the site to each club article (as links presumably) but I think it would be a good idea as the site seems to be an excellent resource. --Malcolmxl5 23:54, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Sabrina, DVD

Why have you just called adding that some shops list the region 2 dvd as August 27 odd ? I have had some weird dificulty adding and had to undo most changes as the page keeps disipearing. Russell >: 4 8 15 16 23 42 20:10, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Joe Smith

Hi, for the simple fact that he was manager for the 1953 Cup Final, he is most definitely deserving of an article, and of course he was the most successful 'Pool manager. Great article by the way, well done. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 16:17, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi - had a quick question. I noticed your edit on Connie Britton and was hoping you could point me to the guidance on photo credits in articles. My main gig is requesting free content from copyright holders, and I'll frequently include a credit as a way of saying 'thanks' and to encourage further contribution of free content. Is this against policy or guidelines? Thanks for your time... Videmus Omnia Talk 17:33, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Mourinho

Please could you explain the reason for removing the addition I made to the Mourinho article (regarding consecutive league home unbeaten run). The least you could have done is explain why in the comments. Otherwise I might as well just change it back which gets us nowhere... I'm prepared to listen to why but not have the whole thing deleted with no reason. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rainmanhk (talkcontribs)

Aggie Moffat

Hi Dudesleeper, I don't see how Ms Moffat comes close to WP:BIO - she made one comment to a notable person that was picked up by the media. Recollections of her husband on a Freeserve page don't establish notability or satisfy WP:RS. She was, after all, a tea-lady. Deiz talk 09:22, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm still unclear as to how [1] satifies WP:RS. Deiz talk 09:45, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi there; I hope that you did not take my comment as criticism - I had no such intention. Wiki policy is that a vandal should, usually, be given a cascading series of warning before a block is imposed. I will accept without argument, however, that this does not always happen. There are some admins who are trigger-happy, and block before most of us would do so, and conversely there are some vandals whose edits are so outrageous as to merit an early or even immediate block. A block after a single edit would normally only be applied for threatening edits, gross obscenity, or persistent and repeated vandalism after previous block. As you will be aware, many IPs are shared or dynamic, and edits from such a source cannot usually be held to be by the same editor. Certainly in the face of repeated vandalism from the same source then we have various block or softblock options. But I think that in the case of the user you have reported, block is at this time premature. You comment on users being blocked without warning. Except in the examples I mention above, or similar cases, such action would in my view be an abuse of admin privilege, and actionable in WP:AN/I or elsewhere. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 10:22, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Bayern Munich Wikinews article

If you feel it's bias, why don't you just put it up for deletion? Kingjeff 03:02, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Well done for removing the point-of-view "moment of skill" and "great Bayern performance". I still don't see how a two-point lead is a) "a stranglehold", or b) worthy of its own Wikinews article. I hope Bayern don't go ten points clear at any point, or I think a mop and bucket will be needed. - Dudesleeper · Talk 09:17, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
You misquoted the title. I put early stranglehold. This is clearly different from a stranglehold in March or April. Kingjeff 13:28, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the information. I generally tend to ignore such edits, but when I multi-task I often edit underscores. I'll keep a closer eye on it. I appreciate your input much.—oac old american century talk @ 07:44, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

You recently nominated Billy Ayre for GA status. I have reviewed it against the GA critera, and have decided to fail the article. Ways to improve the article are on the talkpage. I am relatively new to the GA review process, so I apologise if I have made any minor mistakes. Good luck with improving the article in the future! Davnel03 17:45, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the message - the information came from allfootballers.com [2] which is very comprehensive, but other than for very basic info, is a subscription based service. Personally I have found it well worth the money. Unfortunately, as you say, they don't have Connor's first name.
I came across the page when I was adding some info about Tommy Bowman.
When I have the time (and the inclination) I am slowly converting List of England international footballers (alphabetical) into a table, so I won't have time to expand the list of Blackpool players!
Best wishes. Daemonic Kangaroo 11:53, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Nottingham Forest

Can you stop deleting my updates, its very frustrating and if you do it again I will report you to the bosses. Stay on Blackpool, this is how me and a couple of other guys do it so stay off NFFC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smithy33 (talkcontribs) 13:42, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

Whats wrong with saying Forest drew their first 3 games 0-0? Its a joke people like you delete things like that and if thats not neutral what is? Your nobody, your just a user on the site like me so you are not above me in anyway whatsover. If you delete the new update, I will report you to the wikipedia bosses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smithy33 (talkcontribs) 14:02, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

I will be putting it back on and the bits which is biased, you edit it if your that bothered. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smithy33 (talkcontribs) 14:09, August 27, 2007 (UTC)

Forest kicked off the campaign with three 0-0 draws leaving to some concern on the attacking front. However, when the goal finally came at home to Leeds United, Forest lost the game 2-1, despite a fine attacking performance. The Reds have a Carling Cup tie with local rivals Leicester City on Tuesday.
What is so biased about that? There was some concern on the attacking front for the whole of football, therefore not an opinion. We did lose on Saturday v Leeds and it was a good attacking performance. Nothing else close to biased. People view wikipedia sometimes for latest news and that is what I'm providing. Just because Blackpool don't have anything to report doesn't mean Forest do, were a bigger club after all. Smithy33 14:15, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

I will continuously put it back on and I am not breaking any wikipedia rules, I am informing an audience about NFFC which is what wikipedia is, therefore informing the going-ons of the last 3 weeks in non-biased terms should not be deleted. Keep deleting it free with your will, but if I were you and that bothered, I would edit it into an unbiased article. Then this dispute may be settled. Smithy33 14:19, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for being aggressive, I do get like that sometimes. Anything biased or wrong with this? Please give your opinion if there is something wrong with it:
Forest have had a slow start to the season as they currently lie 18th in the Football League One table after a couple of goalless draws and a 2-1 home loss to rivals Leeds United F.C.. The Reds are at home to Leicester City F.C. in the second round of the Carling Cup on August 28, 2007 after beating Chester City F.C. 4-2 on penalties in the first round.
Also, do you know how to redirect pages? For example, if someone entered Emile sinclair in the search bar, it would come up with Emile Sinclair. Smithy33 14:46, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
