- Thank you Maxim! I've actually used Wikipedia for many years and would like to make a little contribution as well.
- A basic question for you as it's still not clear to me after reading through some of the guidelines: for changes to "Meteor Lake" page for example where there are different opinions, is the proper etiquette to discuss on the Meteor Lake talk page or the other person's talk page or should I continue updating with my view of the "proper" changes? Digital27 (talk) 01:55, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Digital,
- From one new editor to another, welcome (again)!
- It's generally considered best to leave a message on the article talk page for the article that you are discussing. That way, all involved users can easily find the discussion in the future. See WP:TALK for more info. If you want to notify specific users that a discussion is taking place, you have a couple of options:
- Thriftycat Talk • Contribs 22:43, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- Also: It can sometimes be okay to make potentially controversial edits without discussing them first. I recommend taking a look at Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle if you haven't already. Thriftycat Talk • Contribs 22:47, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind reply! I'll follow your suggestions. @Thriftycat Digital27 (talk) 00:54, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Nexovia. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Raptor Lake, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nexovia (talk) 08:11, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
- No problem, I added a reference. Digital27 (talk) 08:26, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
