AberTimes
[edit]Please stop adding that AberTimes source to the Demehin article. Its FAQ states that "We are a crowd-sourced media organization. Anyone can be a ‘journalist’", which falls under user-generated content and is not a reliable source. RA0808 talkcontribs 15:55, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Okay. I get that. Thank you very much. It's been a great argument, though. I've seen for profile, and I hope to learn more from you about Wikipedia and editing as time goes on. Davioseki (talk) 20:03, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Article rescue squadron
[edit]Just a note about Article Rescue Squadron, I think you may have forgotten to post a notification to the ARS Rescue List. It's understandable since they don't seem to make it very clear how to request a rescue. The format seems to be something like this...
== [[Adewale Demehin]] ==
(Insert your rationale for why article should be rescued here) ~~~~
Hope this helps. RA0808 talkcontribs 01:08, 20 January 2018 (UTC)
How you can be a better and trusted Wikipedia editor
[edit]Hi Davioseki. You might be wondering why I am quite assertive towards your contribution on Wikipedia, this is because your editing pattern suggest to me that you are a SPA. If you are truly interested in being a regular Wikipedia contributor then I suggest you edit other articles not related to Adewale Demehin or Jenifa Dairies or Funke Akindele. If you can do that for a while, it will send a good message to the community and put you in good light. You can also join the Nigerian community by adding your username to the participant list here.HandsomeBoy (talk) 21:29, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
Requests for uncreated articles
[edit]Greetings & a great weekend to you all. I believe it would be great if the (Requests for uncreated articles) section in our wiki project can be attended to & at least one article be created this weekend as some requests have been pending since 2016. I believe this would be pivotal to the encyclopedia as a whole & a means to get editors who have gone inactive to revive their Wikipedia activities. Sent by Celestina007. Welcoming New Volunteers
[edit]
Note that the dates observed in bold under the underlined title of message help reflect and clarify the most current & oldest messages with the most current being at the top and the oldest being at the bottom.
We hereby want to officially welcome new volunteers who have recently joined the collaborative project and have volunteered to work in WP:NIGERIA. The arrival of new volunteers is often associated with the confusion of “what to do” on their part, it is then behoove of us to treat them with care, guide them, and protect them from the general pitfalls a new editor would most usually fall into. We are also admonished to clean up after them if they err and encourage them, most especially when they are genuine editors with potential to do good work not just for us, but for the community as a whole. Once more, we hereby thank all new editors who have volunteered to work here and hope they enjoy their stay here.

Unblock me
[edit]Davioseki (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 105.112.213.125. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I'm accessing the internet without a proxy.. Davioseki (talk) 11:54, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
That IP address is a confirmed proxy, and you acknowledge it is probably a proxy, below, despite here claiming it isn't. WP:IPBE may be an option for you if you are unable to avoid use of P2P proxies. Yamla (talk) 12:00, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
It appears is an auto lock. I'm from Nigeria, and ISPs use either dynamic DNS or proxy.
Quite frankly, this would be quite an issue for many Nigerians of this isn't modified soon... I suppose it already is Davioseki (talk) 11:58, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
Yeah, right. Yamzy, pretty smart of you... I didn't say I'm the one using the proxy. It's my network provider. I did a quick lookup and found out about it, and read about this site's IP policy, hence the follow-up comment...
I won't be able to edit on Wikipedia again because you're going to keep blocking this IP each time I log in... Davioseki (talk) 12:15, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
