License tagging for Image:Sarolta Monspart.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sarolta Monspart.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:14, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Sarolta Monspart.jpg has been tagged a candidate for speedy deletion. It is on Commons, so deletion from the English Wikipedia would be sensible. Would you care to speedy delete it? --Una Smith (talk) 14:26, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On reflection, I went ahead and tagged it for speedy delete it myself. --Una Smith (talk) 14:33, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All done; image now is a transclusion from Commons. --Una Smith (talk) 20:11, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations

[edit]

I believe congratulations are in order for your article on Ski-orienteering, especially seeing as it appears to be your first. It was a welcome relief from the vandalism coming from most of the newer accounts. Keep up the good work on Wikipedia! Kivar2 (talk) 23:05, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orienteering

[edit]

Hi. In the past you have contributed to Orienteering, so you might like to know the article is getting a makeover. If you would like to help, please see Talk:Orienteering. Thanks. --Una Smith (talk) 20:11, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Russian Orienteering Federation.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Russian Orienteering Federation.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:23, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Writer's Barnstar
For your contribution of Leonid Khabarov. I commend you for your ability to write such a long, complete article without sacrificing quality, especially as a new user (or at least one that is not autopatrolled). Great work! --IShadowed 17:08, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The true author is User talk:Георгий Сердечный. I've just published the text on behalf of him. He asked me about it. I repost your barnstar to him. --Dnikitin (talk) 17:18, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata is here; please disable any interwiki bots on the English Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi!

Wikidata has been deployed to the English Wikipedia. Going forward, Wikidata will manage interwiki links. Further information: m:Wikidata/Deployment Questions and <http://blog.wikimedia.de/?p=13892>.

Important note: Bots that continue to add, remove, or update interwiki links on the English Wikipedia may be blocked from editing after Saturday, February 16, 2013.

If you are running pywikipedia's interwiki.py, please update to pyrev:11073 which will automatically prevent your bot from updating links on this wiki.

If you have any questions, please ask at the bot owners' noticeboard. Thank you for your past work maintaining interwiki links. It has been very appreciated and we're looking forward to an even brighter future with Wikidata. Legoktm (talk) 09:29, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
