Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nicola Sturgeon. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Wham2001 (talk) 18:00, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Debbie Dingell, you may be blocked from editing. Metalbanbi (talk) 02:58, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Ian Blackford. Martinevans123 (talk) 14:12, 21 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Request reason:

other internet users have inappropriately used this IP address for silly editing, and the subsequent block has prevented me from being able to edit important statistics to footballer profiles with added sources. Users who have misbehaved will no longer use this address, please restore editing access.

Decline reason:

If you were not responsible for the inappropriate edits from this IP, you should request the creation of an account at WP:ACC, or create one yourself in a different location with a different IP address. We have no way of knowing who is sitting at the computer you are using, only that vandalism has come from here that must be prevented from occurring in the future. 331dot (talk) 22:04, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

WP:ACC I would like to create a Wikipedia account, so I can have control of my own editing, as my current IP address has been blocked from editing by Wikipedia due to other uses editing inappropriately. Is it possible to set up a Wikipedia account and is it free or do you have to pay a subscription?

Request reason:

The numbers of the IP address listed in your block summary do not match my IP address. Error. What pages were inappropriately edited?

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yunshui  08:30, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is no error; this IP is blocked directly. If you weren't responsible for the inappropriate edits, why do you care which articles were involved? 331dot (talk) 01:08, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The users who have accessed this address and contributed to the resulting block have been banned from any further access to our internet. They will not access our IP address again. We managed to see the pages in question that were vandalised, profiles of politicians, we have no interest in these figures and do not visit these pages, those who have have now been banned and all users will now need a password for our computer login, so there will now only be responsible, sourced editing. Our main reason for accessing Wikipedia is to add educational statistics to update figures for sport e.g. football, player profiles, there will be no inappropriate or silly editing as all facts will come with citation. Please consider.

Decline reason:

The WP:LITTLEBROTHER argument is never very convincing. I suggest waiting for the block to expire. ST47 (talk) 19:57, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
