I complete five years as a registered Wikipedia editor. Unfortunately, I will not be active on Wikipedia anymore. It's been great learning experience editing Wikipedia, and I have learnt a lot from editing, discussion and collaboration. Well, I do hope to return some day, but for the moment I cannot put a time frame for a possible return. It may be as little as a month, a year or maybe not at all for several years. I'm not officially retiring, so I do plan to keep the flags to nudge me to return one day and assume my responsibilities. Just in case you're wondering, everything is ok with me. I have been hinting about this for a number of months now, so it's not a sudden decision. I'm not disillusioned with the process – It's just that I need the time to focus more on real life – Wikipedia takes a wee bit much of my time, and I have loads of real life challenges [for the good that is] that I need to face in the coming months. This does not mean I will not look at Wikipedia; I will be a simple anonymous user, and occasionally drop in to see what's going on on some of the talk pages I used to haunt. I wish everyone the very best for the future and hope to keep in touch. Good luck, Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 19:37, 31 January 2009 (UTC) PS My passwords are safe. |
