Theodore Katsanevas (Template:Lang-el, born Athens, 1947) is a Greek academic[1] and was a Member of the Greek Parliament (between 1989-2004).[2]

He obtained an MA from the University of Warwick and a PhD from the London School of Economics. He is Professor of Labour Economics at the University of Piraeus.[2]

He is married to the daughter of Andreas Papandreou, former Prime Minister of Greece. In Papandreou's will, he accused Katsanevas as a "disgrace to the family" (Template:Lang-el) [3][4][5][6][7][8][9] and that "his aim was to politically inherit the history of struggle of Georgios Papandreou and Andreas Papandreou",[10] another former Greek Prime Minister, Andreas Papandreou's son, and thus Katsanevas' brother-in-law.[11][12][13]

As a result of this matter being described in the Greek Wikipedia, Katsanevas brought a lawsuit against a Greek Wikipedia user and administrator with the user-name "Diu", and The Greek Free / Open Source Software Society ("GFOSS", aka "ELLAK").[1][14]
