Westbury Nernewtes (talk) 12:55, 14 May 2015 (UTC) could you please inform me what i have done wrong, sorry in done something.please help.Westbury Nernewtes (talk) 12:55, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Westbury Nernewtes: Wikipedia discourages users from writing about things to which they have a close connection, such as you writing about your title. Historical places are, of course, of general interest and belong in an encyclopedia, but it is not clear that you are writing about an historical place so much as the memory of an historical place preserved in history by the existence of a somewhat obscure title which, by all appearances, is not presently held by longstanding inheritance, but rather by recent purchase. I may well be incorrect in my interpretation, but the article will need more and better reliable sources to know whether this title and/or actual place should be retained as an encyclopedia entry. Westbury Nernewtes (talk) 13:17, 14 May 2015 (UTC)Many thanks for your information,i fully understand of you conserns longstanding inheritance still stands but the MDR changed and became MGR . reliable sources are correct and have done everything correct on Wikipedia terms. pleas could you remvove tag warning pleaseWestbury Nernewtes (talk) 13:17, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Westbury Nernewtes: No, I won't remove the tags at the present time. The conflict of interest still exists because the article as it stands is entirely the creation of a connected contributor. The notability issue still stands because the references (especially this one) indicate that the actual manor no longer exists, only the title Lord and Lady of Westbury Nernewtes exists. The reference also states that, as of 1889, the title was held by one Edward Snow Fordham. Even if the present owners inherited the titles from Mr Fordham, the notability of an historic title that no longer pertains to any actual manor is questionable at best. Westbury Nernewtes (talk) 14:20, 14 May 2015 (UTC) As in introduction it says: Current legal owners of the titles: ,never says owners of the manor,i am trying to put all the history back togeather, not trying to make any conflict of intrest.sorry if i have made troble but was not intentional. - @Westbury Nernewtes: You haven't made any trouble at all. The article is not tagged for deletion, just improvement. The article as it stands is not up to Wikipedia standards, but the tags are intended to direct potential editors what issues need to be addressed. Feel free to address them.
