Feud with Landell
[edit]How could Taylor and Landell have feuded over the NWA championship when neither of them have ever held that title? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.76.220.34 (talk) 03:22, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- They feuded over the NWA -National- Championship. It was a title created out the controversy over Landell's alleged/disputed NWA World Heavyweight Championship win. Kind of like WCW's International Heavyweight Title, if you recall that mess. InedibleHulk (talk) 00:55, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Clothesline/Lariat distinction
[edit]The part about Taylor's announcing style doesn't need to give so much weight (or any) to the small distinctions between a clothesline and a lariat. Also, the words "seemingly unaware" reek of original research and certainly need a citation. The very distinction (though unexplained here) would also need a citation, IF we're to keep the sentence at all. Normally, I'd just fix a small issue like this without five lines of talk page, but I'm feeling oddly democratic. Aye? Nay? Don't care? InedibleHulk (talk) 03:34, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Red Rooster's gimmick lives on
[edit]Yes I know that the Red Rooster gimmick had a very big negative effect on his career, but NOT the legacy. Every time you hear that rooster sound effect at any University of South Carolina arena or Stadium, that was for Terry Taylor, who was after all born and raised in South Carolina.
