Kutateladze is one of the world's leaders in vector lattices and optimization: Some of the achievements in post-Paul Cohen Boolean models, etc., are important but passeth my understanding. There is no question that Professor K is notable.
Dude, if you can assert these claims, I encourage you to add these assertions to the article. There may be no question about the professor's notability in your eyes, but the article fails to assert your claims. Possibly, since you're the one making the claims, support them with independent and reliable sources. No harm; no foul. Everybody's happy. This is an encyclopedia, and this is the talk page of an internationally renowned mathematician. Please write with appropriate respect of him and Wikipedia. Thank you. Sincerely, Kiefer.Wolfowitz11:38, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently so. ;) Pleasantly puzzled why he attached my informality to a disrespect of Kutateladze or Wikipedia. There's certainly no disrespect intended or expressed toward either or toward KW. Amazing story about Rivieri. I wasn't familiar with the incident. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy)03:02, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure what the exact relation of Kutateladze's work is to forcing, and would like to find out. So would the reader. Tkuvho (talk) 08:23, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if there be a relation with forcing. However, I understand that the Boolean-valued models arose to better understand forcing, so I thought it was a useful "see also" link. Kutateladze did use Boolean-valued models to investigate K (Kantorovich) spaces (and alternative models for the real numbers).
