Literary Works:

[edit]

Under the heading "Literary Works" the article states that "The Flight of Pigeons, has been adapted into the Merchant Ivory film Junoon" This is incorrect. Junoon is not a Merchant Ivory production. It is a Film - Valas production (See IMDB website) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shaukat Shakir (talkcontribs) 03:27, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Concluding lines

[edit]

The concluding lines section should perhaps be removed. If needed there can be separate articles for each of his major works. Shyamal 08:07, 2 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography

[edit]

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. Feel free to continue. Sunwin1960 (talk) 23:19, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Ruskin Bond. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

1951-Present in Birth Period of Ruskin Bond 2405:205:618C:1CD4:0:0:1A62:50A1 (talk) 12:19, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Note: period parameter in the infobox is for the dates from first publication to last publication. DRAGON BOOSTER 06:47, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Please state edit requests in such a way as to include a clear and specific description of the requested change. This usually takes the form of "Change X to Y" where X is the current text and Y is the desired text. As DRAGON BOOSTER states, the "period" in the information box accompanying an article for an artist is usually the period they are active and producing work, not their life. This means the implied request to change the text to include his birth date is not going to be done. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 15:27, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

'The Eyes are not here' to 'The Eyes Have It' 182.65.20.162 (talk) 08:45, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please change "The Eyes are not here" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request is "please change The 'Eyes are not here' to 'The Eyes Have It'". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.65.20.162 (talk) 08:52, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I am unable to find any evidence in reliable title databases of either The Eyes Are Not Here or The Eyes Have It as a publication authored by Ruskin Bond. The closest I can find are The Eyes of the Eagle or Eyes of the Cat. Accordingly, I will remove it from the list as unsourced. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 14:39, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Eggishorn Actually the IP is not totally wrong. "The eyes have it" is a short story by Ruskin Bond (It was part of my school curriculum). It is also possible that "The Eyes are not here" and "The girl on the train" are variant names of the same story, though I have not personally observed these variants. However, we don't really need to include it in the bibliography because (I guess) it is part of one of the anthologies.--DreamLinker (talk) 03:10, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Melecie 'THE ADVENTURES OF TOTO' is published by the Government of India through NCERT[National Curriculum for Educational Research and Training] and we say it's not reliable. Sorry but this fact hard to digest, in entire India it's the most reliable educational institution.
