Box office numbers

I noticed this in the case of Pushpa 2. For the past few years, for most of the anticipated and big budget South Indian films, the box office data provided by the producers have been always higher than the figures reported by reliable trackers like Pinkvilla or any other website. In some cases, the difference have been quite high.

But strangely to my surprise, for Pushpa 2, the figures reported by Pinkvilla and this time also Bollywood Hungama are absolutely same or almost same to the producer figures.

So, what are the chances that the producer is suddenly providing the absolute figures without any inflation or is there a chance that both of the above mentioned trackers are for some reasons, reporting the producer figures only, but are just not mentioning it? I think we should only use one source for the box office since I have noticed that there is a lot of difference between the figures provided by a source like Pinkvilla and another source Bollywood Hungama bcoz Pinkvilla shows that the film grossed ₹1,004 cr in eight days while Bollywood Hungama shoes that it had already crossed the mark by the sixth day, so I am having confusion on which source to use. Reports are updated consistently by journalists and we have to take the latest updated source and update the boxoffice figure if any new change. I do not see any problem here.
