Unsourced Biographical Information

[edit]

There seems to be no reference for most of the biographical information included on this page. Particularly paragraphs 3, 4, and 5 of the biography section. I am considering deleting these. --BGreenAdams (talk) 15:06, 3 August 2014 (UTC)BGreenAdams[reply]

I'm inclined to agree. Also, paragraph 4 doesn't seem very NPOV. I'll see what I can verify and reference, and perhaps other users can as well since it is tagged. If by August 7th, there is still questionable unreferenced content, you can remove it. CoffeeGiraffe (talk) 19:18, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the content in this section seems to have been lifted from a personal blog, http://www.bettnet.com/frassati/ I have communicated with the author of the blog and he says he thinks he got his content from "a traveling exhibit on the life of Pier Giorgio organized by the official cause for his canonization; a book written by his sister Luciana" The book by Luciana Frassati is still available and could be cited, if this is accurate. The bettnet website is included as a note in the history at the time these paragraphs were introduced.--BGreenAdams (talk) 14:03, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there's a copy you can read on Google books. I've already included it as a reference, but haven't gone through to verify everything yet. Unfortunately, it seems like most of the books written on him that are potential candidates for references are in Italian with no English translation available. This makes it a lot more difficult to verify everything. CoffeeGiraffe (talk) 12:48, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Frassati Houses other than Australia

[edit]

Frassati Houses also exist in Canada and the US. If they are added to the article, the material on Australia would need to be greatly curtailed, to keep the info manageable and balanced. But I don't want to offend Australians. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 19:18, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
