The contents of the Matchbox page were merged into Phillumeny#Matchbox on 17 August 2020. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history.
It has been proposed that this article should be merged into "Match", due to being very short, and unclear how it could really be fleshed out to a full sized article. However, these are two different and related objects. Moreover, matchboxes have become collectibles, hence notable enough to deserve a separate article. To any interested editors (including those with this hobby): please identify secondary verifiable sources to expand this article, and contribute to it. The collection of matchboxes by the " Phillumeny" is made with the thousands of cardboard or wooden matchboxes spread around the world. Now, the expanded article comprehends metallic and wall-mounted matchboxes wich are not within the objective of those collectors, then being the article more general, it would be improper to merge it with Phillumeny..Mcapdevila (talk) 22:59, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
