Images being changed, without consensus

[edit]

See discussion concerning this matter, of image changes without consensus. GoodDay (talk) 02:29, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vive Presidents that became president is missing Biden

[edit]

Your missing Joe Biden 47.150.191.216 (talk) 03:37, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No we're not. The section you're reading is about vice presidents who succeeded to the presidency upon the death or resignation of the previous president. GoodDay (talk) 04:00, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A column for Vice Presidents' ages when entering and leaving office?

[edit]

I think we should add a column for this, the years are of course already there so you get a decent approximation but a column would allow one to sort the table easily. I don't know how to edit Wikipedia really (will look into it when i got time) but figured I'd make the suggestion nevertheless. P.D. John Cabell Breckinridge was the youngest, at 36, to James Buchanan in 1856. Emilia2307 (talk) 18:30, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

information Note: Such details are available at List of vice presidents of the United States by age. Drdpw (talk) 19:10, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

@Drdpw Why should the first sentence of this article link to itself instead of the page on the Vice President as an office? HadesTTW (he/him • talk) 15:29, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Until a couple days ago Vice presidents of the United States redirected to Vice President of the United States. I will reword the opening sentence. Drdpw (talk) 16:12, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see. Thank you. HadesTTW (he/him • talk) 17:13, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Changing images

[edit]

Is there any particular reason, why the images are being constantly changed? GoodDay (talk) 01:36, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Biden's portrait in this list should be reverted back to his Vice Presidential portrait from 2013. 51.7.196.105 (talk) 17:25, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}} template. I appreciate your good faith. Consensus needed..(3OpenEyes' communication receptacle) | (PS: Have a good day) (acer was here) 17:40, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Consensus is in favour of the 2013 portrait though? It was only changed to the 2021 Presidential portrait today against consensus. Using the Vice Presidential portrait is consistent with other VPs who became President later on this list, like Bush, Johnson and Nixon. 51.7.196.105 (talk) 17:50, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
