Christie is stated to be the landlord of 10 Rillington Place, but the article on the house says he illegally sublet his flat when he went on the run, and the real landlord ejected the new tenants. There are some other inconsistencies between the accounts at the two pages; I think they should probably be combined, but my own knowledge of the case is limited to the Attenborough film. Hysterical personality is an antiquated term for histrionic personality disorder (as explained here) and the two are essentially synonymous, much like "manic-depressive disorder" and "bipolar disorder." Histrionic/hysterical personality is, however, distinct from hysteria; that is why hysterical personality disorder redirects to histrionic personality disorder but hysteria is a separate article. For further confirmation, here's a quote from the psychologist who diagnosed John Christie: 'He is NOT suffering from hysteria, but is a man with an hysterical personality who, in certain circumstances, behaves as a man suffering from hysteria would behave.' Emphasis added. This shows that "hysterical personality" and "hysteria" were indeed viewed as different disorders.24.130.111.82 (talk) 22:45, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The top photograph here says that Evans' conviction was quashed in 2004, but on Evans' own page it says they didn't quash it because it would be too expensive but they accept he did not kill his wife and daughter. So which is it? 92.8.117.9 (talk) 11:14, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
