Please do NOT change the affiliated team until it has been confirmed by Penn State University and/or Coach Franklin. Uncited references will be undone. Gehrc (talk) 16:52, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PLease change James Franklin's (american football coach) current coach from Penn State to the Vanderbilt Commodores, along with the conference from BIg 10 to SEC and his record changed back as well. He is still currently the Vanderbilt head football coach. The change was likely made by a Penn State fan where he may end up within the next few days.

I believe you misread this request. The request was to change the HC position FROM Penn State BACK to Vanderbilt, which is where the coach currently resides (and many of the cited sources currently on the article mention). However, it does appear that the article no longer contains any information about Penn State. Gehrc (talk) 18:55, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
So why can't we delete the two sections above since they no longer apply since Franklin was hired at PSU? I'm not sure why anyone would want the "history" of "he wasn't hired yet so wait to make the edits." Just trying to understand the rules around here.
