Planned contributions
[edit]Considering that this house marks the site of a landmark case decision regarding California land laws, I believe it would be appropriate to provide a description of the actual case, California v. Harada, as well as a mention of the precedents the case set for future challenges to legal property in California. Additional detail which could be added to the article are further descriptions of the life of the Haradas and their move to the U.S. I've compiled a list of possible sources that could help with some of these additions:
- Possible sources
- https://www.nps.gov/subjects/aapiheritage/upload/Harada_House.pdf
- https://npgallery.nps.gov/pdfhost/docs/NHLS/Text/77000325.pdf
- https://www.nps.gov/nr/travel/asian_american_and_pacific_islander_heritage/Harada-House.htm
- http://articles.latimes.com/2007/sep/04/local/me-harada4
- (Peer Review) I agree that you should add the appropriate court case regarding the article, since it gives a deeper understanding of how Harada House came to be. You might want to consider adding the current state of the House beyond the article's latest mention of the 2004 handover of the House, as well as adding more illustrative images that can give the readers a visual aid of how the house looked in the past and in the present.
