Name change
[edit]Why the name change (and when)? 71.242.233.76 04:56, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
AGREED
[edit]AGREED, SHOULD BE Universal Amphitheatre. Evangp (talk) 19:44, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Performance history
[edit]If at all possible, it would be appropriate to list the history of all public performances held there. This might take the help of an employee from Universal to produce the list. Ammobox (talk) 17:01, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

Gibson Amphitheatre → Universal Amphitheatre – The music venue was known as Universal Amphitheatre for the first thirty-five years of its existence, and the sponsored name was added in its last few. Now that the venue has been torn down, consensus on the Talk Page is to rename the article for the name by which the venue was originally and longest-known. - Support the change, in case that wasn't clear by my posting it. SixFourThree (talk) 15:09, 21 April 2016 (UTC)SixFourThree
- Support The venue was named Universal Amphitheatre much longer and is more widely recognized by that name. Evangp (talk) 18:35, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support the renaming to Universal Amphitheatre, basically the more common name. Bahooka (talk) 18:39, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support Universal Amphitheatre should be the name of the article. Ammobox (talk) 02:01, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support I've never heard anyone use the the Gibson name locally outside of official communication. --Junkyardsparkle (talk) 02:48, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
