for the same reasons as the gaza genocide (part of this article's scope too) article does not have an 'accusation' in the title, because it's been called so by the UN, amnesty international, and many other sources. MerluchWK (talk) 19:04, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There was a discussion about this in July of last year. You can review it and see if you might like to start a new move discussion. إيان (talk) 19:32, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have one more question!

[edit]

Thank you for addressing this, you mention how you aren’t able to accept my proposal yet due to this topic being labeled as continues, so when can my proposal be accepted and when is this topic not gonna be considered continues anymore? Watersilly (talk) 00:56, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

When the Israel-Palestine conflict is meaningfully resolved and only of historical interest? That's not going to happen for a long while though. Hemiauchenia (talk) 01:03, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ooh yeah I see that makes sense, but I was still wondering though because other genocides that are still continuous are labeled as genocide still while for Palestinians it’s labeled as an accusation for right now!sorry if I’m bothering you just curious! I think I’m starting to get this wikapedia commenting thing!!

Okay one last thing and I’m sorry for bothering yall but I’m just wondering, there’s other genocides that are still taking place today meaning they are continues like this topic, but they don’t have accusation in front of their title, I was wondering how come the Palestinian genocide has accusation in front of its title? Watersilly (talk) 01:19, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This has been discussed before but the page Gaza genocide doesn't have the word "accusation" added because there's a consensus that there has plausibly been genocide in Gaza. In the case of Palestinians in the West Bank, the issue is less clear. When reliable sources regularly start referring to a genocide against all Palestinians, including in the West Bank, then it'll be much easier to make that case. Personally, I don't think "accusation" is needed, but that wasn't what prior discussions concluded.
