History split

[edit]

Since most of this article is history, I'd suggest splitting it to History of the Belarusian minority in Poland, like History of the Ukrainian minority in Poland. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:20, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Collage

[edit]

I created a collage of famous Belarusians who lived in Poland:

Symon Budny ·Tadeusz Kościuszko ·Frantsishak Alyakhnovich
Sergiusz Piasecki ·Nadieżda Kostiuczyk ·Gienek Loska

Surprising silence

[edit]

Curiously, there is a reference to Soviet repression in Western Belarus, though it was not a "Polish" territory any more, and so its Belarussian population was not a "minority in Poland". But, shocking enough, not a word is said about the Belarussian minority in Poland between 1945 and 1989. Maybe nothing happened in between? What about the transference of most of Belarusians from Poland to Western Belarus (1944-1946)? Joan Rocaguinard (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:07, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
