The information that her first husband is/was “Production Manager” for Pirates of the Caribbean seems at best irrelevant, and at worst just plain confusing. It seems like something which should only be mentioned in the context of the couple’s relationship (e.g. if it was due to involvement in PotC that they met), but no such information is given; if there is no such context, the information seems no more relevant to the Amanda Pays article than it would if it said he had brown hair or wore size 9 shoes. It becomes confusing when the link to the PotC included doesn’t actually mention Kohn so it is not possible to see if his work with the franchise was with the theme park ride (which would allow it to relate to the period of Ms. Pays’s marriage to him) or to the movies, at which point it would so far post-date the period of the marriage, and have no bearing on the life and work of Amanda Pays, to be a completely irrelevant aside. This image used for Ms Pays is in a word, terrible: it's nearly 25 years old; badly cropped from another picture, in which she's turned, in the background; then blown up and pixelated. Suggested that we remove this entirely, until a suitable replacement is found. --HidariMigi (talk) 03:10, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Nothing would be better than merely posting a horrible picture, because that is all one has found. It's a disservice to readers and to the subject. --HidariMigi (talk) 23:49, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Addendum: By way of improvement, I've uploaded an image cropped from one by the same photographer, from 1990, that shows both Amanda and her husband Corbin Bernsen. While still old, it's at least a face-front shot. Would this be agreeable as a replacement? -- HidariMigi (talk) 00:29, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
