Altercation with Myke Tyson

[edit]

"...Ayer confronted Mike Tyson, who was forcing himself upon the then little-known model Naomi Campbell. When Ayer demanded that Tyson stop, Tyson reportedly asked, "Do you know who the fuck I am? I'm the heavyweight champion of the world", to which Ayer replied, "And I am the former Wykeham Professor of Logic. We are both pre-eminent in our field. I suggest that we talk about this like rational men". Ayer and Tyson then began to talk, allowing Campbell to slip out."

Other than a single passing reference on page 344 of Rogers' biography, do we have any other sources to substantiate this interaction? HenriqueBulhoes12 (talk) 05:48, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

added to text: Gully Wells, Ayer’s stepdaughter via Dee Wells, records the same event with some slight variation of detail.[1] Jy Houston (talk) 09:31, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
