TV Vlaanderen Digitaal is a digital satellite television provider for the Flemish market, using the Astra satellites at 19.2° east and at 23.5° east.

TV Vlaanderen's customers are mostly people living in Flanders. However, as TV Vlaanderen is officcialy available to the whole of Belgium, TV Vlaanderen also has a lot of Flemish customers living in the French-speaking part of Belgium due to the unavailability of Dutch-language channels on cable systems in Wallonia.

Like the Dutch satellite television provider CanalDigitaal, TV Vlaanderen is owned by Airbridge Investments and Providence Equity Partners.

Besides the Dutch-language stations (één, Canvas, VTM, 2BE, VT4, VijfTV, Vitaya) and Nederland 1, Nederland 2 and Nederland 3. TV Vlaanderen also offers a number of specialty channels such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, History Channel, Eurosport, ESPN America, E! Entertainment and many more.

Smartcard

The Flemish public and commercial broadcasts are not freely available via satellite. To receive the Flemish broadcasts a smartcard is required to decypher the Mediaguard 3 signal.

A standard DVB-S receiver is used, which can also receive free-to-air broadcasts. A DVB-S2 receiver is used for the reception of the HD channels offered by TV Vlaanderen.
