Strigocossus moderata is a moth in the family Cossidae.[1] It is found in Cameroon, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.[2]

The larvae feed on Cassia and Pterolobium species.[3]
