Gilbert Plains is a rural municipality located in the Parkland Region of Manitoba, Canada. The municipality had a population of 834 according to the Canada 2006 Census. Riding Mountain National Park is located within the municipality.

The RM of Gilbert Plains surrounds the incorporated Town of Gilbert Plains.
