On 21 April 2021, a bomb blast killed at least four people[1][2][3] and injured another twelve in Serena Hotel, Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan.[4] The blast took place in the parking lot of the hotel.[5][6][7][8] The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in a statement claimed responsibility, saying it was a suicide attack.[9]
