Oliver James Davis (born May 24, 1993) is a former American child actor. He is perhaps best known for originating the role of Alex, the son of Nurse Samantha Taggart, on ER. More recently, Davis portrayed the older son on Rodney.

Davis, born in Los Angeles, California, has also appeared in commercials for the Sylvan Learning Center. He lives with his parents and his older sister Morgan who is also an actress.

A TV Guide column published online on January 20, 2006 noted that Davis lost the role of Alex in ER because the show's producers were tired of having to work around his Rodney schedule.[1] Davis was replaced by Dominic Janes.

Oliver attends Santa Barbara High School in Southern California.
