North Karelia (Template:Lang-fi; Template:Lang-sv) is a region in eastern Finland. It borders to the regions of Kainuu, Northern Savonia, Southern Savonia, South Karelia and to Russia.
The city of Joensuu is the centre of the North Karelia region.
