Nikolaus von Vormann (24 December 1895 – 26 October 1959) was a highly decorated General der Panzertruppe in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the 9th Army. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. He wrote two books documenting his war-time experiences: Der Feldzug 1939 in Polen and Tscherkassy. He died in 1959.
