Miss Universe Thailand 2023 is the 24th edition of the Miss Universe Thailand pageant, expected to be held on August 20, 2023, at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, Nonthaburi, Thailand.[1][2] Miss Universe Thailand 2022, Anna Sueangam-iam will crown her successor at the end of the event, who will represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.

Background

Selection of participants

TPN Global Co., Ltd. declared on May 5, 2023, that this year all delegates will be representing their respective provinces. All provincial winners will be awarded the same design crown, which is sponsored by God Diamonds Jewelry Company.[3]

As the Miss Universe Organization changed the rules to allow married women and mothers to compete for the 72nd edition, Miss Universe Phuket, Praveenar Singh-Thakral, is the first married contestant for Miss Universe Thailand.[4]

MUT MAX

The Miss Universe Thailand Organization will join forces with 247 Entertainment through a special project “MUT MAX” competition, under the concept 'The Warriors of Universe', in the creative form of music, performance, and fashion show. The winner of this competition will be rewarded with a direct spot among the Top 10 finalists in the finals.[3]

On May 25, 2023, the organization revealed that American rapper and member of the South Korean boy group Got7, Mark Tuan and Thai singer and actor, PP Krit would be performing at the event. Former Miss Universe Thailand winners Aniporn Chalermburanawong, Maria Poonlertlarp, Amanda Obdam, and Anchilee Scott-Kemmis would also be performing on the night.[5][6]

The Light of Glory Crown

The new winner will be crowned with a brand new Mouawad "Light of Glory" crown, which will be unveiled later.[3]
